With care for the soil

We feed the earth,

the earth feeds us!

Water and wind erosion

Erosion: Loss of topsoil due to water and wind erosion.

Soil has the extraordinary capacity to store, transform and recycle nutrients.
1/3 of the world’s soils are moderately to severely degraded due to unsustainable human activities, biodiversity loss, desertification and climate change, which threatens global food supplies, increases carbon emissions and heralds mass migration.

Implementation of anti-erosion practices:

According to the data of the Ministry of Education and Culture, 875 thousand ha are severely eroded from water erosion, and 800 thousand ha need urgent anti-erosion protection.
Wind erosion has affected almost 29% of cultivated areas.

Uncovered soil is susceptible to wind and water erosion –
rapid drying and formation of a soil crust makes aeration difficult
and causes siltation of soils, etc.
