SOCO Soil Hydrogel

SOCO®

SOIL HYDROGEL

Biohydrogel – a functional product made using an acrylamide‑free, potassium‑based technology.

It absorbs liquids equivalent to several hundred times its own weight and quickly transforms into a gel.

  • Non‑toxic, harmless, and biodegradable
  • Suitable for clay and sandy soils
  • Water‑retention capacity ≥ 350 times
  • Effectiveness ≥ 5 years
  • When the soil dries, the hydrogel releases up to 80% of the stored moisture back into the soil, ensuring good plant hydration

Benefits of using hydrogel:

  • Improves the soil’s water‑holding capacity
  • Helps plants develop a strong root system
  • Enhances the effectiveness of fertilizers and pesticides
  • Increases plant survival rate
  • Reduces irrigation frequency and saves labor costs
  • Improves soil condition
  • Promotes plant growth and development
  • Increases yield
Application:

Apply at a depth of no less than 5 cm (optimal depth 9–10 cm) depending on the crop, in the root zone, well mixed with seeds, fertilizers, or soil.

Field crops

3–5 kg per decare depending on soil type, natural conditions, and crop requirements.

Vegetables, berries, and outdoor flowers

5–10 g/m²

Greenhouse production

4–8 g/m²

Fruit and ornamental trees, shrubs, and vineyards

  • Young plantings: 3–5 g per root
  • Older plantings: 5–20 g per root

Seedlings, transplanting trees and shrubs

Root dipping:

  • Mix hydrogel and water (ratio 1:130) to obtain a gel,
or prepare a mixture in ratio (hydrogel : water : soil = 1:200:20)
  • Apply the hydrogel or the soil mixture into the planting holes.

Lawns

Apply during soil preparation at a depth of 10 cm

  • 20–30 g/m² for sandy soil
  • 10–15 g/m² for clay soil
